I pledge to become better informed about the world of politics around me. In that I will become a better person for not only myself but for my son and those in his generation. For they will have to pick up where my generation leaves off. I will make sure that he knows that he and his peers have a voice as we do. He died last year and I am grateful to him for what he has done for us. He carried his battle wounds until the day he died. Lenny Winter’s Pledge:
18 months ago I started volunteering with the American Red Cross. I went to Lousiania for Hurricain Gustav, and to New Hampshire for their Ice Storms. I respond to local disasters, like house fires, where people have lost everything. Espescially their memories. Nothing has felt better then to know that I can help other Americans in their time of need. I encourage every American to take care and watch out for their neighbors. someday they may look after you.

I pledge to the best I can for my family and my commuinty and to be honest when asked about what is going on in the world today. I am a Disabled Naval Veteran, college student and volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America here localy in my sons CubScout pack. I also try to help out my sons baseball team whenever possible.

I am proud to be an American! My great-uncle was KIA on Guadalcanal, my father was a career Marine who served in WW II and Korea, my brother was KIA in Vietnam and my other brother served in Vietnam. His two sons served in USMC and one is still in reserves and has volunteered to go to Irac. I was raised to be a patriot for my country. I pledge my undying love and support for this great country.
