Pam’s Story:
My husband & I own two small businesses in our rural Georgia town. We are continuing to give the the same kind of personal service to our customers that has kept them coming back to us for all their hardware, gift & antique needs for 29+ years. We keep in stock items we know they will need & want. We each keep customer"want lists" to help our customers find those hard to find items they sometimes ask for. We order in smaller quanity in this economy & run the stores ourselves to save on overhead.

Pam Berube’s Story:
My husband has been out of work since Oct. 08. We are struggling and hope things get better really soon. He has applied to go to Iraq to work with Iraq in the police division. I just have toi keep praying that the Lord will see us through and I know he will.
Thank you in advance for your prayers for my family and the thousands of others like us.

Pam Schultz’s Story:
Just trying to get by and worrying how to keep my mortgage payments up. Living in a Mobile Home was not on the list of "Obama's bail out money for helping to keep people in their homes" I'm not the only one living in a mobile home.
So far have been lucky enough to keep my job while watching fellow employees being laid off.
Things will get better
Pamela’s Story:
This is a hard time to have kids in college! You want to be hopeful and positive, but you see a reduction in oppurtunities. It's hard to encourage them to take on more debt when you know they probably won't have a job later. We are all suffering and I pray our suffering will be as Job's and lead us to a greater life. Hard to think it through that far when you haven't had a raise in 3 years and your husband was laid off 6 months this year.Praise God, I live in America. We'll LIVE Through it!

Patti Wilson’s Story:
My husband and I run a small residential/commercial painting company. This year we lost our biggest account and have been surviving on 400-600 dollars per month plus food stamps. Most people who might have wanted their houses painted are either doing it themselves or waiting till the economy turns around. We are more fortunate than some. Our needs are not so much and God is faithful to provide, but it is so challenging to not become discouraged.
Paul’s Story:
Recently laid off, where the company could have looked into wage freezes or other alternatives. No a good time, but spirits are high. Maybe we need to bail out the american's dreams and give back to our 401k or other retirement plans rather than corporate america that is paying bonus'.
Peggy Ensley’s Story:
I am an American. I will always be an American, in thought, word and deed. I will stand and defend my rights as they are defined by our constitution. I urge all Americans to read our constituion so that they will understand what it means to be an American and then stand together in defiance of tyranny.
Phoebe Anderson’s Story:
I am 47, with rheumatoid arthritis, and truly blessed to be able to work full-time. My husband is a house husband. We live on $13/ hr, in a 40 year old mobile home, yet I know we are truly fortunate. We own our mobile home, so we only are renting our lot, making it a whole lot easier to keep a home, and we are finding ways to live within our means. We do not have credit cards, loans, or expensive toys. Living simply is our saving grace...
Phyllis’s Story:
I am so fed up with all these people taking our money. I lost all our savings We now have to live on SS with isn't alot. Throw all the bums OUT NOW to save us.
