Don Hooper’s Lyrics:
The folks down there in Washington
dismiss the way we feel.
They don't care or see,
We're Born Again Americans for real.
Douglas Mann’s Lyrics:
My retirement is down the drain,
Now I have nothing to gain.
I'm old and don't have a dime,
to overcome the crime.
My 401 is worth nothing now,
What am I going to do?
Go without food and eat dog chow!
Karen’s Lyrics:
i love this concept and believe in it wholeheartedly, but the one concern i have is the repeated use of the bible in the chorus feels very exclusive to people who do not consider the bible their central sacred text. i think it would honor the intention of the song more to alternate using the word 'bible' with the word 'koran' and 'torah' or 'good book' in the repetitions of the chorus. it might make more people feel they could sign the pledge with integrity. i know that a jewish and muslim person were pictured in the video, but the repeated use of bible makes the whole thing seem christian only. thanks for capturing the spirit of the moment and staying involved and informed.
Chris Lanier’s Lyrics:
"It doesn't matter where you're from,
Opportunity is your Liberty.
From the Land we all hold so dear,
From Sea to shining Sea.
We're all brothers and sisters,
We're free with our creativity.
Thanks to all who practice and believe,
This land that belongs to you and me."
Meg (7)’s Lyrics:
From sea to shining sea
wherever you go
I am surrounded
but I know somebody's in my heart
that America is sometimes poor
Mark Alan Campo’s Lyrics:
Take us back to the innocence we knew.
Front porch swings and an eagle with golden wings.
Hello neighbor you are my friend.
A street Baseball game, Kick the can and a game of front yard tag,
Lady Liberty holds her flame high
underneath the good ole American flag.
I’m a born again American
Lady Liberty holds her flame.
Bob Wentworth’s Lyrics:
I went to vietnam with faith and hope in hand.
Was in the tet offensive but our leaders had no plan.
Came home and now the economy may not stand.
Becuase once again our leaders have no plan.
Come join together by now you surely see.
If the change is done wright its up to you and me
Robert DeSpain’s Lyrics:
My family is all I got. Building American is what I do. Infrastructure has dropped and we've all been treated like a fool. Its time to stand up for what we believe and all get up off our cans it time to a BORN AGAIN AMERICAN
Pastor Jonita (Jay) Johnson’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American, I love the USA. My heritage is here from slavery to the now; and one Nation under God is my creed.
I'm a born again American, there's nothing we can't achieve, with faith in God, respect and work the world looks up to us.
Barbara Lockard’s Lyrics:
Some who are left, and some who're right,
Don't trust the other side.
And make their living selling hate
exploiting the divide.
They profit while they stir the pot
and shove the truth aside
But they can't see the middle
where the most of us reside
George A. Smith’s Lyrics:
Our lives have become a catalyst,
To change the wrongs of the past.
Take each other's hand,
And join our hearts as one
Lavina Burgess’s Lyrics:

THERE'S ROOM AND FREEDOM,
AND THERE'S JUSTICE FOR ALL
AMERICA-
~~~~~~~~~
SO BRAVE AND STRONG...
WE RESPECT OUR OLD GLORY...
THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE
AND WE'D RESPECT YOURS TOO
IF WE WERE IN YOUR COUNTRY WITH YOU
AMERICA-
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND ALL NATION'S TOO
THE COLORS, AND RACE, OF EVERY FACE
AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR COUNTRY, AND WHAT IT STANDS
YOUR NOT WELCOME BACK, BY ANY CHANCE!
"GOD" BLESS OUR PRESIDENT, "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", AND ALL NATION'S TOO!
Daniel Stratton’s Lyrics:
I am a policeman, a teacher, a firefighter, and a preacher. I'm a husband and brother struggling to support my family. We live an a nation where everyone is free but her citizens can't believe that this once proud nation is living in misery...
We need to stand-up for what our father's stood for in 1776 and bring America back to it's prominence.
I'm a born again American....
Deidra Hewitt’s Lyrics:
The sick folks among us live in fear
Choosing between medicine and other basic needs
Medical bills piling up as far as they can see
There's no cure to be
When each disease becomes an industry
Tania’s Lyrics:
People round the nation have been feeling mighty low,
Do they think, we really don't know.
Behind the scenes that shifting eye,
Programs of loss, while those who've served die.
For a cause, that most don't agree,
Enough's enough, with new eyes we see.
The shift is here, it has been felt.
Lonely days are gone, new cards have been dealt.
The rainbow colors, this country has become,
Take off the cloak, we've already won.
Let's learn from history, and repeat no more,
The battle we face now is an inner war.
Let's love ourselves unconditionally, to forgive & forget,
We've got nothing to loose but karmic debt.
So the Age of Aquarius, let's bring her on,
Your cordially invited, to witness this new dawn!
Lonnie Stepp’s Lyrics:
I am a Capitalist American. I believe in words witten down in the Declaration for You and me.
I believe Government is the cancer is screwing you and me. Our founders went to war against the King because they were paying taxes through January 15th don't you see.
Our founders welcomed businesses of all types to these shores. In 1800 we were poor, But by 1870 our nation was the Greatest economic power in the world.
In the Twentith Century we protected freedom in Europe, Asia, Africa and across this planet of ours.
We supplied our former foes with new factories so they could compete with you and me. But we are American's and We believe in competion it keeps everyone free.
Now our Government has given us a religion call Enviromentalism. In Greece it was called 'Mother Gaia' don't you see.
The taxes our government now places upon our businesses chases them from our shores.
Our Founders wanted us to be Free. Freedom brings with it the right to fail or succeed.
We are no longer a farming society. If I choose to drope out of school or fail to continue my education my failure is my failure is my fault don't you see.
I AM THE AMERICAN. THE ONE THAT MADE THIS LAND
FREE. I FOUGHT, I DIED, FOR YOU AND FOR OTHERS LIKE ME.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO WILL PROTECT YOU AND TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN YOU ARE SICK.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO WILL GIVE YOU A HAND UP. BUT IT IS UP TO YOU TO SUCEED.
I AM THE AMERICAN OF LIMITED GOVERNMENT. I WANT THE SCAVAGERS AWAY FROM ME.
I AM THE AMERICAN OF WASHINGTON AND JEFFERSON WHO WANTED GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT OUR LAND, TO BUILD OUR ROADS, THEN LEAVE US ALONE.
I AM THE AMERICAN OF OLD, THE AMERICAN OF MY FATHERS AND THE AMERICAN OF THE NOW.
AMERICAN WILL SURVIVE WHEN CHRISTIAN CAPIIALISM IS WORKING AND LEFT ALONE.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO IS AGAINST THOSE WHO WANT TO ENSLAVE US ALL.
THOSE WHO ENSLAVED THE EUROPEAN SERFS DURING AGE OF FEUDALISM,
THOSE WHO ENSLAVED THE BLACKS DURING THE AGE SLAVERY IN AMERICA.
THOSE CALLED THEMSELVES FEUDALIST, FASCIST, COMMUNIST, SOCIALIST OR EVEN LIBERAL BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL ONE AT HEART. THEY BELIEVE THEY ARE BETTER THAN YOU OR I THEREFORE THEY WANT TO ENSLAVE US ALL.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO WANTS TO BE FREE.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO BELIEVES IN 'COMMON
SENSE' BY BEN FRANKLIN.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO BELIEVES IN THE TEACHINGS OF THOMAS PAINE.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO BELIEVES IN LIBERTY OR DEATH.
I AM THE AMERICAN WHO BELIEVES IN THE ORGINAL INTENT OF THE CONSTITUTION AND NOT THE MEANING SOME GHESTPO JUDGE SAYS IT HAS TODAY.
Wayne Fowler’s Lyrics:
I fought for this Country like millions have done
and would do it all over again until we have won
The battle for freedom given to everyone
because I am a born again American you see
A proud disabled Marine that knows very well
The cost of Freedom pulled from the jaws of hell
Our national soul will survive to fight another day
because we are all born again Americans all the way
Bud Stilwell’s Lyrics:
I pledge my support to Our Troops
Anthony F Noble (SFC US Army Ret)’s Lyrics:
God bless America, the land of Liberty. I server her well for twenty years, to keep our country free. If I were recalled tomorrow, and asked to served again. I'd give up all I own and ask Were and When.
Tarra Guerra’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American
I'll let my disillusion go
So many peoples gather here
I love the melting pot we are
I will believe we do have hope
Ed Bessman’s Lyrics:
Change "My Bible and the Bill of Rights" to:
"My bible is the Bill of Rights"
Daniel S. Keenan’s Lyrics:
My father and his friends worked hard
Put the man there on the moon
But things back here on earth
Have gotten crazy as a loon
But I know we together
Can do it once again
We'll work with hope and wisdom
And find our second wind
My mother God rest her soul
Would raise her glass and toast
Said those hard-est to love
Always need it the most
And you my friend are stronger
Than you might have ever known
Through each of your life's burdens
You have always grown
And our nation is no different
She sparkles and she shines
But she needs a little TLC
We're going to be fine
America they say
Is the land of milk and honey
Where gold grows in the trees
And where you dig up money
Today is no different
But we're reminded once again
That hard times and elbow grease
Define Americans
And when you think all is lost
Think Darfur, and their fear
Don't panic my friend...
America? you're here.
Jamie Sewell’s Lyrics:
I am a born again American,
Oh what have they done to us.
I pledged allegiance to the flag
and stood by my country Tis a thee.
Don't let the big car makers and banks just do us in.
give back to your people So we can be a nation again
C. Thomas Kuper’s Lyrics:
America, you've come a long way. With much to be proud of, and much with shame. The past is the past and we must always move on, but lets not ever forget it, and lets learn from the wrong. Lets say what we mean, and mean what we say. Lets all sieze the moment, and brighten our days. Our forefathers were wise, and their foundation is strong, so lets remortor the block work and carry things on. To a place thats more fitting, more decent, more willing to keep us for ever and ever the land of the strong.
Sue Chatterjee’s Lyrics:
Americans step away
from our easy, lazy ways.
They have lead us astray.
Let's stop, think,
make much wiser decisions,
It's worth the fight!
Americans pull together,
Forge a new path,
we are all proud to follow.
Around the world once more,
"doing it the American Way"
will mean getting it right.
Piss Off’s Lyrics:
Liberals are bad Liberal are more than a tad over-needy. They want to give and not work for it. They stayed longer on the Tit. Hand outs and freebies are their way of thinking. Don't bother me while I am working and wellfare is sinking.
Beth Cannon’s Lyrics:
My students call me teacher
Someone they trust today.
I try my best to help them all,
and gently lead the way.
My hope for tomorrow
is to be happy and free
And, so, I trust in God alone
who daily teaches me!
Bill Brown’s Lyrics:
Be a free american, standing tall and living free, we will be a american as long as we fight for the freedom to keep our jobs in america, building our america a strong and free place for our childrens america.
M Talarico’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American, my ancesters made us free....they came across the oceans to live in liberty.....they came and built a Melting Pot, all colors and all creeds...they worked beside each other, to gain a better place... for all of their decendents in their family tree.... they didn't look for handouts, worked their fingers to the bone .....I think if I could bring them back to see what we've become, they'd hang their heads in unity ashamed of who they see....they'd see a lot of hatred, of cultures and of creeds, that one time many years ago, they never dreamed would be....Pure greed has taken over, and life has now become impossible to live the life that was once begun....So let's all ban together in two thousand and nine, to make a new beginning that all American's need... a time to look at what's been done to our forfathers liberty.....
Carmen M. Jordan’s Lyrics:
I believe this song should say "My BELIEFS and the Bill of Rights", not "my Bible and the Bill of Rights". After all, isn't that exactly what the song is about? The beauty of this incredible country is that we AREN"T all of one color, one religion, one ethnic background and one belief! The beauty is that we are free to be, think, believe... anything! I like the word "beliefs" in place of "Bible" because it includes ALL Americans.
God bless this country!!!
Rock Wolf’s Lyrics:
My president is worried more about the fish in the sea.
He said to me ...
I would have suffer more.
So he went and banned the drilling on my shore.
So we sent our money to his friends overseas.
Oh can't you see this land they stole from me.
I am a born again American
It our country country can't you see
Please Mr President let me work my land free
Let me cut our trees for homes
and find the oil that lets me rome.
Oh can't you see all I want is liberty
and the freedom to be me.
Jennifer Clarkson’s Lyrics:
Added verse leading in from chorus:
"I'm a born again american, conceived in liberty,
(New) Our children need for us to see,
that their futures are secured
We stand together now as one
Our Nation's rebirth has won!
(leading back into original chorus)
"For everyone who shares the dream from sea to shining sea. I'm a born again American conceived in liberty.
* I thought that the only thing that was left out of the song was something referring to our children's future. Other than that it is an inspiring, heartfelt plea of the American people to stand up for our nation and it's people. Thank you for doing this.
Best wishes,
Jen Clarkson
Mike Abrams’s Lyrics:
If you really want to hear the truth then listen
In His word is where each one needs to be
Holding on to His truth and teach it to our children
Proclaim the name of Jesus above every other name
No more religous toleration, He is the only way
Beverly Mosteller’s Lyrics:
iam a born again american my daddy fought for us the sailors of pearl habour still remember the day ,the loss was hurific but they knew it was for us , so they boarded their ships and steamed away. i'am a born again american.........
Jim Munson’s Lyrics:
Every child born in this land of bounty
Every senior who toiled to help our country grow
Should never be refused when they are hungry or not well;
They must never ever have to be told No!
Steve Richardson’s Lyrics:
I wanted to comment but I am not about to join the way things are now.
This is from your web site. "America's founders came to its shores in search of religious freedom. We're fighting to preserve Americans' freedom to worship — or not — as they choose, without fear of coercion or government interference."
How can you have lyrics that mention the bible and exclude other beliefs. I feel excluded and ostracized. Yet I feel like a born again American. I was born in Texas. My Dad's mother was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, my mother, her parents and grand parents were from Tennessee. My brother and I served in the Army. My Dad and his brothers served during WW2. I voted for Obama and have new hope for our country and faith in some of its leadership, which I did not have under Bush. I feel renewed and born again.
I could not figure out if your song was religious (born again) or political. If this is supposed to represent me too I find it very offensive! If you are some religious group have at it, enjoy your freedom. This does not support the mission you have on your web site.
I would like to volunteer but this song conflicts with your mission, I find this very weird.
Ollie Smith’s Lyrics:
From gates in the South and gates in the North
For over three hundred years they all came forth
They came from the East and came from the West
And for all that time time we have stood the test
From all creeds and every corner of the earth
They came with a dream and had a new birth
They all asked their Gods to bless this land
You dont have be a soldier to take the oath and stand
At proper times when it is all said and done
Put your hand on your heart and say I Am A Born Again American
Patrick Davlin’s Lyrics:
All my brothers and sisters wear brown and blue. We have put our country and our comunities before our very lives. We stand between the darkness of hate and the light of tranquility. We do that so your life is free to enjoy this great country. All it takes is a small child to smile at me to remind myself I am a Born Again American. I'm a Born Again American, I will give up my life to ensure your rights. We surly don't do it for the money, we believe in liberty, for you and me. I'm a born again American, keeping your streets safe sea to shinning sea.
Ron Hedrick’s Lyrics:
The Socialists are taking over America, so we must stand, against open borders and take back our land!
America will fall as others before when people believe the government owes them more.
We will fail when government takes away the incentive to achieve, from the business people who built up America with their blood, sweat, tears and believe;
it's wrong to have to bear the burdon of our jails, hospitals, and housing overflowing with illegal aliens who break our laws.
Americans need to get back to the basics and vote out those who would take our individual Freedom of choice to support who we want and not be compelled to fill the bellies and bank accounts of bureaucrats and legislators who get rich on promises of false hope to get votes.
Stephanie Schmitt’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American,
whose heart once more feels hope.
I thought my country's way was lost,
And I just couldn't cope.
But now I see a brand new day,
it's just starting to shine.
I know hard work will pave the way,
To a better future for mankind.
Chuck Nicholson’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American
I'm in competition with no man
I believe God will bail us out
I believe He has the upper hand.
Ken Meyers’s Lyrics:
I volunteered my time
To stand and fight for the land that I love
I gave her all I had
That freedom was mine
I was proud to do my patriotic chore
I hold my head up high
And I can't help but shed a tear
When our national anthem is played
And when I hear that song I shed a tear
Rev. Bill G. Boggan’s Lyrics:
All persons are created equal
Each once deserves a vote and voice
It is time that our leaders understand
they run the country at our choice.
We have been given Freedom's gift
by those who paid it's high price
we must shine that light for all to see
Our gift for all is Freedom's light
I'm a Born Again American
and I'm blessed to live in liberty
Lord give me the grace and strength to live a life
that will set all person's free.
Avan’s Lyrics:
Stand up ,Stand up Gods people, America the land of the free. We are born again and free to speak Gods word , Open your mouth born again Anerica! we are letting our land be taken ! Stand up ,stand!!! america!!!our born again job NOW is to be GODS VOICE !!! Bornagain? be proud in this fire we stand. In God we stand. SHOUT!, born again American In Jesus name we live.
Woody’s Lyrics:
Please recorrect the lyrics to read
"My country 'tis of THEE!"
My Bible and the Bill of Rights all refer to our heritage of people who believed God ordained our freedoms. Today's citizens are the very ones who have undone this, all for the "do re mi." If we forget our spiritual heritage, we are lost in fact, and have only to wait for events to prove we had forgotten Him.
Rich’s Lyrics:
My country,' tis of thee,
sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;
land where my fathers died,
land of the pilgrims' pride,
from every mountainside let freedom ring!
My native country, thee,
land of the noble free, thy name I love;
I love thy rocks and rills,
thy woods and templed hills;
my heart with rapture thrills, like that above.
Let music swell the breeze,
and ring from all the trees sweet freedom's song;
let mortal tongues awake;
let all that breathe partake;
let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong.
Our fathers' God, to thee,
author of liberty, to thee we sing;
long may our land be bright
with freedom's holy light;
protect us by thy might, great God, our King.
George Douglas’s Lyrics:
We have time on our hands
Time that is so easy to pass on by
Without contributing a nary ounce in return
For that beautiful blue sky passing above us
As we sing America Is Free, one of a kin
She will console us in time of need, thank God,
(REPEAT) , thanks to you
Americans ONE AND ALL
Thanks for allowing that blue sky for covering
Our home of the free!
Thanks to our troops....bless our freedom fighters
Bless their families for giving them up, just for awhile
(REPEAT..............................................), possibly forever
Don't forget to remember, blue skies, freedom....are everones contribution
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE IN our LAND OF THE FREE!!
Joel Ingram’s Lyrics:
For so blessed is my country, For it is one nation under God. I can look far and i can look near, But to be here i am Born Again American.
SPC.Jesse W.Holder’s Lyrics:
I am a US Army Soldier; Proud to serve our Country. I will fight and stand behind each and every one of you.
Would you do the same for another. Courage does not always roar, Sometimes it is a quiet voice at the end of the day. Saying: "I will try again Tomorrow".
Mary’s Lyrics:
My closest friends sacraficed for our freedom,
they joined unselfishly. They fought for our great nation
now it's our turn to fight for it too.
Lets all join in the fight, and stay strong with all our might.
For freedom does not come cheap, we must protect our children's future.
Brian’s Lyrics:
My son looked up at me and asked
Dad where did the towers go?
We did nothing to them Why do they hate us so?
Will Obama really protect us if they come again
I said son I just don't know
For Congress does not listen
to what we have to say
You see them strip our freedoms one by one
each and every day
But we have faith in Jesus and he will see us through
So bow your head and say your prayers
That's what born again Americans do
Barbara Lockard’s Lyrics:
The radicals don't trust the other side
And some of them are getting rich by selling lies and hate
They market books and TV shows that widen the divide
They just don't see
That we are pretty much the same inside
Dave Persichini’s Lyrics:
"The Bill of Rights and Big Book"
...I think "Big Book" is a much better non denominational way to include all spiritual beliefs. It is more inclusive and ecumenical.. thanks
Barbara Lockard’s Lyrics:
The radicals don't trust the other side
And some of them are getting rich by selling hate and lies
They market books and TV shows that widen the divide
They just don't see
That we are pretty much the same inside
Charlie Harris’s Lyrics:
america needs to remember people just like me
prices go up quanity goes down
i have a job but still cant eat
C. Richard Kenawell Jr’s Lyrics:.
There is hope! If we can stop the injustice of slavery we are capable of stopping the injustice of abortion. America will never be truly liberated until all people including unborn people are given the right to LIFE, then liberty, then the pursuit of happiness.
American he will always be
I miss you Lukie
Lyndall Canter’s Lyrics:
as a soldier I was proud , to serve this mighty country,but now I'm not so proud, of what we have become. so many are homeless and hungry, the fight we have before us,not against a foreign enemy but against the apathetic and the uncaring living here next to me.
I pledge to my family to become the hero and protector of their rights and be able to stand up for what we believe in.
i try my hardest even if it cant be done
Sandra Scott-Smith’s Lyrics:
My fathers found their hope in her
for she would help them see
love for others in this world and
truth to always keep them free
Liane Hawkins’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American and proud as I can be
I teach the little children what it means to live so FREE.
They look up to their President, he must be very smart They're very small Americans, but love is in their heart.
I'm a born again American, I'll sing it very loud
Oh beautiful for spacious skies makes me feel so proud.
When I travel far away from home it makes me so aware
America's the place to live for all we have to share.
Gregory Raffa’s Lyrics:
I'm just a veteran in disgust how our so called politicians say they represent us, yet they spend our hard earned taxes we give them, they say trust us, my God I am deeply ashamed because they are no longer Americans.
Self serving what's in it for me, I pray they are held accountable as true Americans should be! Served on many sea's, seems the ship has been sinking leaving me!
So Americans, let's see what we should really be, Born Again Americans set us Free, I beg you Please Stop all the greed, become a Re-Born American and plant a truth
seed.
Steve McCloskey’s Lyrics:
Im a born again American, I served my county well. Keeping citizens safe was my creed, I gave it all I had. When I was forced to retire, I didn't hold grudge I just left the profession that I loved. I am a born again American. I am still viable. I never turned my back on you so don't turn yours on me. Rememebr the government of the people, by the people and for the PEOPLE and freedom isn't free.
Garner Hays’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American,
living between the ruts.
When times are tough and perilous,
I face things with faith and guts.
I don't speak French or Spanish,
just good ole American slang.
If that ain't good enough for you,
well I don't give a dang!
Lately that great American dream,
has taken an awful twist.
Greed and lies and terror,
have risen in our midst.
But to all that think or wish,
that America is dying,
Don't believe all those rumors,
for America keeps trying.
I'm a born again American,
and I never stand alone.
Some have bled, many have died,
to make this dream our home.
Laura Schlegel’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again America,
'cause her song is alive again,
with the blood of brotherhood,
we can guarantee,
to worship as we please,
'cause this is the land of the free!
Lisa Lorea’s Lyrics:
I’m a born-again American
With hope and change my call
I found my nation once again
At election time last fall
Greed and lies have brought us to
A crisis in our land
I took the time to work for change
And now I understand
That change depends on all of us
To take the tools at hand:
With hope and faith and crying need
We will build once more our land
We take these truths up once again
All men are created equally
And no elite of wealth or power
Can defeat our liberty
We have at last a head of state
Who will work for the common good
But he needs our help, our prayers, our pledge
To be all that we could
I go out now to lend a hand
To give instead of take
To raise my voice when my brother falls
To give us all a stake
United, we will turn around
The wayward ship of state
United, we can spread the word
Of Love instead of hate
I’m a born-again American
And so we all should be
We’ll get it done if we work as one
From sea to shining sea
Jane Doe’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American
Tired of the lies and deceit
My ancestors all did their part
To epitomize democracy
English is the language here
I speak it most respectfully
To feel a stranger in my own land
Fills me with indignity
I'm a born again American
Tired of the lies and deceit
My ancestors all did their part
To epitomize integrity
My country now has lost its way
It seems we kneel and bow to Israel
We've lost the guts to stand and cry
No more to the chosen ones from hell
I'm a born again American
Tired of the lies and deceit
My ancestors all did their part
To epitomize equality
Our lives are chained to the force
That owns this land from abroad
The chosen few who hate and kill
All in the name of their God
I'm a born again American
Tired of the lies and deceit
My ancestors all did their part
To epitomize what it means to be free
My freedom now is just illusion
My government a traitor to me
Dual citizens now own us outright
We are no longer really free
I'm a born again American
Tired of the lies and deceit
My ancestors all did their part
To epitomize democracy
Troy D Hogg Sr’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American I fought in war to be free I gave my country all I could singing my country tis of thee.But again were here in the face of God praying for world peace , what will it take for all of us to stop thinking of just me. yea I'm a born again American God for give me for my greed.
Marsha’s Lyrics:
It's true that Freedom's just not Free,
The proof's in all who died and gave for me.
Keep their memories in your heart
And never fall apart, when times get tough
Just think of folks like these.
There're those who have no food to eat,
Jobs, clothes, or even decent homes to heat.
Count your blessings every day
And as you go along your way,
Share a smile with everyone you meet.
Your Love for God and Country for all time.
Cyndi Robinson’s Lyrics:
IM A BORN AGAIN AMERICAN...
AND IVE SAID TO BUY AMERICAN FOR YEARS,
THE FOREIGN CARS
AND FOREIGN GOODS HAVE SHRED OUR HOPES TO TEARS,
BY WANTING GOODS SO CHEAP,
WE HAVE SOLD OUT OURSELVES TO OTHERS
WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER,
REMEMBER WE ARE BROTHERS
THE JOBS WE LOST CAN BE RESTORED BY TRUSTING IN THE LORD,
WE NEED TO BUY AMERICAN
IT IS ALL WE CAN AFFORD.
ONCE MORE WE SAY WE ARE BORN AGAIN
ALL ACROSS THIS LAND.
THERE IS ENOUGH WORK FOR ALL TO DO
IN GODS PERFECT PLAN.
I have spent my life fighting for equal rights of all
Teaching people to read and write so they could vote.
Then 38 years teaching kids about our country and a
government who cares.
Now I am sick and unable to work we may loose our home.
But who cares about the old and ill.
We are the forgotten few.
I taught the students to respect our leaders.
Now they steal from us with their private jets
and golden parachutes.
The economy is stumbling,
in vast and troubling scope.
Join hands with fellow citizens
all around the earth.
Jack Gipson’s Lyrics:
Can I say I'm an American?
Have my dues been paid?
Did not my ancestor
riding a cold rough sea.
Kneel offering heartfelt Praise to
our Creator. Knowing that he
was Free to live upon this Rock.
And, call myself an American.
Susan Cramer’s Lyrics:
I'm a born again American, conceived in liberty
from all my family's toils and grace,
across the pilgram's sea
I'm a born again American and proud of what I see;
the strengths and hopes of brother man
all built in liberty.
Melany Sands’s Lyrics:
In this land, born of free, remember that the government, does not govern me, but that we govern thee.
This land of ours was created with colorful, cultural diversity. United for one purpose, the American dream of life and liberty.
But how can we march forward, fighting for a land we are so proud of, when there's endless hunger and greed, right at our doorstep? Has the government forgotten our original creed?
Our home is in turmoil, with the hungry and homeless, financial loss and the forgotten. Turn around and look at your neighbor, are you united or divided?
Stand together, hand in hand, and as one, we'll take back over this land!
I heard my country's call in '65
The corps took me to Vietnam
Though wounded, I came home alive
But my country didn't seem to give a damn
I traded my rifle for a class room
teaching was to become my way career
Sharing postive hope and never gloom
I watched them grow and disappear
After 40 years of teaching don' t you see
of helping these young people to learn
the college says they no longer need me
So I am left alone without an living to earn
I wonder where my country is going
down the path of forgetful it seems
I hear the politicians blaming and crowing
Spouting this and that while they preen
Paul Sybert’s Lyrics:
Three years ago I had a stroke, my left side paralyzed
A singer and songwriter, it took away my voice
I worked hard to get it back the best I could,
Since that change I have no time for just frivolity
Only what's important now to me.
I can walk without a cane,
I talk almost like before.
My singing voice is different though,
I cry sometimes to think what I have lost.
What I have gained is more I know
Than what was taken away.
I am a born again American
I had no health insurance and the hospital wants their $
But I can walk and talk and in my soul I'm free.
I am free to do what's mine to do in this sweet life to do
To write my books and sing my songs publish my CDs.
Erika Hampton’s Lyrics:
Down South we watch as job are cut.
The homeless they abound.
Big corporations now they fail, or else turn tail and run.
Illegals flourish and crowd our rolls.
Politicians cry their woe.
CEO's make hay,
the people pay.
Our children's hunger grows.
I'm proud to be American.
But now as neer before.
A change must come.
For we know for some.
They won't last at the way we go.
Garrett Bogard’s Lyrics:
Our families served our country
They sacrificed their lives
And when our Father took them home
We still wish they hadn't died
They told us that they loved us
We still know that it's true
But we were not the only ones
They loved the red, white and blue.
I'm born again american
In the land of the free
Our cousins loved their country
They died for you and me
I'm born again american
We all know it's true
That when you love this country
You really love the red, white and blue.
DANIEL MASON’s Lyrics:
LIKE AN EAGLE WE SPREAD OUR WINGS AND SOAR
THROUGH THIS PROMISE LAND,
been waiting to feel that way again
since JFK asked me long ago
what could I do for my courntry
I gave and gave to family, church, neighbors
but then as i grew older--
children gone to make their way in America--
in my old age nothing I said to my congressmen
seemed to make a bit of difference
today, at 66, I'm ready to take back my country
proud to be a born again American
in this great land of ours.
I'm proud of all the young people who helped us
find hope again cause they took their right to vote
and gave us back our country and gave us a new hunger to make our world a better place,
starting right here in America.
Angel Becker’s Lyrics: Here are some words
that I came up with,
the site invites people to create thier own lyrics
and while mine may not fit the music,
I was inspired to write the following...
My words fit more to the tune of,
God Bless America, Land That I Love,
I included this in my email to those I know,
when I shared the website with others...
Enjoy & God Bless AMERICA, Land that I love,
Stand beside me, and praise joyfully,
Our enduring Lord & God up above.
He created, all we, hold so dearly,
And take for granted day by day,
I know that freedom is not free,
It was earned,
By those who served, this country.
From my father, to my uncles, brothers,
nephews, just for starts,
Many have sacrificed all they had,
Gratefully, this sacrifice, came from their hearts.
So each morning, that I wake up,
I thank God for all the love,
He gave us an example,
That none could ever match, or hope to rise above.
He gave His Son to us, cause He loves us,
and desires us, to love the same,
I'm a born again American,
And I'm proud to make this claim,
So thanks to each and every one,
Who serves this country, in His name.
